Nintendo Releases 4DS

Nintendo has just released the newest member of the DS family. Being the successor to the DS, 2DS, and 3DS, the 4DS aims to further expand the dimensions of gaming.

In order to replicate the unique 4D experience, Nintendo’s engineers have implemented numerous advancements over the current 3DS technology, including dual industrial-sized fans, a peripheral hose for water effects, and even an attached Febreeze™ canister.

The true standout to the system, however, is the “Vitality Reaction System” (VRS), which provides real time feedback for players by releasing electric shocks, up to 1000 volts, when characters take damage. Due to positive responses from focus groups, Nintendo has no plans to release the system without the innovative VRS.

The 4DS launched with some standout games, including “Nintendogs 4 Real”, “Super Mario’s Sewer Adventure”, and “Super Smash Brothers: Pain Gain”. The newest in the Nintendogs series utilizes the 4DS’s capabilities to expose the disgusting truth behind owning an puppy with no training whatsoever. Super Mario’s Sewer Adventure, on the other hand is defining immersive experience which could only be replicated by getting lost in a real sewer.

The system itself sold out when it launched, with fans lining days in advance. Many critics cited that the immersive capabilities of the system and games were simply too much to miss out on. One customer even bought his ninety-five grandfather a system, noting that the new Smash Brothers is “a great replacement for a pacemaker”.

The system retails at $469, with an optional heart failure insurance option for the VRS. Do not be surprised if stocks are empty if you go to purchase it. If that is the case, just wait for the next iteration of the technology, which ought to come before they can get more on shelves.

With the 4DS, Nintendo has shown the world its innovative thinking, and, yet another temporary solution to human boredom.
