Crewmate of Odysseus Found Dead

Evil Larry, known by many from brainrot videos on Instagram and Tiktok, has struck once again.

In the early hours of the morning, one of the men travelling with the King of Ithaca, Odysseus, was found dead, appearing to have fallen from the roof of Circe’s palace. Elpenor (yes, pronounced like that), fell from the roof he had drunkenly climbed up the night before. Forgetting where he was when he woke up, he fell and broke his neck. However, it appears the circumstances surrounding Elpenor’s death were connected to the actions of Evil Larry.

When Odysseus reached the Underworld (the next stop on his incredibly long journey back to Ithaca), he met the spirit of Elpenor, who told him  how he died and asked to have a proper funeral when Odysseus and his surviving men returned to the world of the living. In a shocking turn of events, Elpenor revealed to Odysseus that his death was not merely a result of his drunken roof escapades, but as a consequence of Odysseus’s own actions. It appears that in addition to pissing off all of Troy, Poseidon, Telemonian Ajax, Polyphemus, and soon the Sirens (among many others), the son of Laertes had also pissed off Evil Larry, who had sworn to “steal his penar.” It appears that Evil Larry’s threat had come to pass, and he had killed off Elpenor, due to his position in Odysseus’s crew and his name’s unfortunate similarity to the word “penar.”

As Odysseus and his men mourn the loss of another friend, this time at the hands of Evil Larry, one can only hope that he and the remaining ship in his fleet can make a speedy return home to Ithaca and no one else will die. Surely they have been through enough.
