1. Stardew Valley: ♥️/10

There is a kitty. You can pet on kitty. You can water the kitty like a plant. The kitty can bring you gifts. Not too shabby, but also definitely not cat-centric. Also there is a limit of one kitty.

2. Minecraft: Fish?/10

You can get as many kitties as you want and of different breeds, and they can scare stuff for you. Assemble a kitty army as an anti-explosives measure. It’s awesome. Whatever. Go my scarabs.

3. OneShot: Messiah/10

You get to be god for kitty Jesus but he is in denial about his kittyness. But he meets robot kittens and feels a kinship. Kitties get a little pancake as a treat.

4. Stray: Apocalypse/10

Gotta confess, I haven’t played this one. The cat seems cool but I don’t want to play anything where the cat is presented with any bad circumstances at all. And people keep saying the game is sad. So if I avoid it it doesn’t exist.

5. Little Kitty Big City: Menace to Society/10

Stray but cartoony and without the apocalypse part. I love running around a city causing problems. And wearing hats.

6. Omori: Waiting For Something To Happen? / 10

Is there a cat in this? Yes. Is he cute and named Mewo? Absolutely. Is there a scene with him that still traumatises me to this day? ……… definitely. Don’t get into this game with the sole purpose of playing with the cat.
