Hello everyone, concerned father here. Recently my offspring has been attending classes at a local high school, and has been making friends with humans. It would appear that he has stumbled upon a strange phenomenon, one that has been altering his character. I thought little of it, but he came to me one evening, speaking of a ritual called “locking in.” At first, I thought it was a practical joke, but he became stranger with time. When I speak to him, he utters peculiar responses such as, “I’m just vibing.” He has been requesting more “screen time” with his human device. Upon denial, he threatened to cast a stake into my heart. He also refuses to drink his blood at meal times, preferring… alternative drinks, such as a human concoction he refers to as “Mountain Dew.” He refuses to prowl the streets with his darling mother, unless we use human transportations, such as automobiles. I seek counsel from those who understand, how may this father remind his son of his vampire ways, and return him to his vampiric path.
