Welcome to the Pit! (Or at least its substitute for the year)

Welcome F!rosh, Upper Years, alumni, Artscis, and all who cause chaos across campus! The pit is the beating heart of culture at Skule TM , playing host to games, builds, ****, studying, refreshments, your friendly EngSoc representatives, shenanigans, and of course, the indomitable spirit of Skule TM . As our beloved pit has been selected at the lottery to be Myhalified, we, The Pit Floor Grime, aim to create a reminder of our beloved traditions for you to enjoy next year!

****, ****, ****. Engineers love our beloved beverage supplier, ****. This icon of engineering for over forty years has been a boon to all of us, helping us let loose, hang out, and host other events, including our most important cultural traditions! For all F!rosh, you will be able to enjoy the maximum chaos of **** during F!rosh Week and Godiva Week.

F!rosh week is the main initiation to the Pit, with events each day! Your first day at Skule TM has some of the biggest crowds, allowing you to meet some of your new best friends! Many who have walked the floors of my home have found friends, coworkers, family, and life partners through their F!rosh Week shenanigans! As you progress through your week of adventures, you will meet more people and hold many major events such as the incredible Skule TM Hunt, some great traditions with the beloved spirit heads: Lady Godiva, and Mr. Blue and Gold and of course the great Bnad expedition to spread Skule TM spirit everywhere on campus! This week also holds the great tradition of the annual pit repainting, typically to some gaudy colour that hides dirt well! This event is generally done on the Friday, as part of the closure of **** until the next week!

As the year goes along, my home, the Pit becomes home to so much studying, procrastinating, and socializing. Many events happen at random times through the year, with explosive effect. There are sudden art exhibits on campus, tutorials for tools and others. Keep your eyes peeled!
