We are always in search of writers, graphic artists, cartoonists and distribution volunteers from any faculty at U of T! Don’t have experience? No problem, neither do we.
To join, you can:
1. Click here to sign up for the Toike mailing list yourself or… WE’RE WORKING ON IT
2. Join our Discord server to stay updated on events/meetings/issues!
2. Send an email to toike@skule.ca with the subject “I want to be a part of the Toike'”, and describe what you are interested in doing! I will then tell you to join the Discord so you might as well just do Step 2 to begin with.
The Toike Oike follows a monthly printing schedule. Near the beginning of each month we meet to develop content ideas and a theme for the upcoming issue. We spend the next week or two on content development, then meet again to develop unfinished articles and fill out the issue. If your schedule conflicts with meetings, don’t worry — just make sure your content comes in before the month’s deadline!
