As the sunny days of summer approach, we recall the nicest times of the year: skimmering the lakes on a 420. With waves stronger than midterms, and winds gusting faster than oncoming exams, riding a 420 powers through sailing conditions as unbeatably as ever. While the indicator 420 may be synonymous to engineering students as a date during their exam season, riding a 420 is one of life’s greatest joys (as long as the winds don’t capsize or turtle your ship, as does the turbulence of exam season). In general, while there may be nothing sweeter than the mist off a ship shipping sugar by the ton, nor satisfyingly violent than the turbulentness of exam season, 420 might just be one of life’s greatest conquests.
