Haunted Doll
Isn’t this doll cute? I really like having her in my collection but she tends to break things, so I am sure an attentive, loving home would be perfect for her. She is about 100 years old and does not like to be photographed, so she would also appreciate a home that would understand her boundaries.
Cursed Amulet
You will notice a recurring theme of green not being my colour, and unfortunately, this amulet happens to fall into the category of “green.” It has always given me wonderful advice, but my friends insist that I post it on this listing, even though I love my precious so much. Only very good offers on this will be accepted as I would prefer not to part with it, you understand that my only personal reservation towards it is aesthetic.
Arsenic Dress
This beautiful, apple-green, silk taffeta dress is perfect for any occasion, but I am told that it is best worn for afternoon teas. It dates back to the 1860s, and is allegedly made with an arsenic dye to achieve the beautiful, flattering shade of green. I only have the bodice, skirt, and overskirt, any period-appropriate foundational garments will need to be sourced by you. This one did get taken by TMU’s Fashion Research Collection, so you will also have to help me get it back, but I am told it is easy to liberate things from there, as the Ram was liberated via a conveniently open window.
Paris Green Silk Satin Boots
Paris Green is such a gorgeous colour. Much like with the dress above, I do wish they still made arsenic dyes because they just don’t make shoes like this anymore and it’s for a silly reason. You will certainly be the talk of the town if you wear these shoes with the green dress! Unfortunately green just isn’t my colour, I feel a bit sick whenever I wear it, especially if it’s rainy out, so I would love to see these go to a good home! The Bata Shoe Museum at Bloor and St. George apparently has a similar pair of shoes that date to the 1840s, but I think mine are in better condition. I’m giving it away because I recently got a new model and thought I’d share the old one with someone who might need it.
Mysterious Obelisk
This one isn’t actually that old, but it clashes with my decor, so I would love for it to find a new home. I am not quite sure how it ended up in my possession to be honest, I think it just appeared one day. It might look like some sort of rectangular prism tower in this photo, but it is actually a triangular prism, composed of metal sheets. It is about 9.5 ft tall, and would make a lovely addition to the decor of any home or dorm!
Spooky Portrait
Also not a very old piece, but one I would love to see go to a new home, is this spooky portrait. It clashes with my decor and the old man in it unsettles me. He looks as though he is carrying a legacy of crimes and is consumed by the blood on his hands. Haunted paintings are so last season, and all the blood red in this one reminds me of the coffin my ex-girlfriend sleeps in after she feeds. I did consider listing one of my other haunted portraits, but this one is just so disturbing that I would like to ensure that it finds a new home first. I am sure this would thrive in someone else’s home, especially if they were following England in the World Cup.
