Kaboom, more like Kabuzz: Skule Cannon goes electric – Interview with Chief as to why.

After more than 69 years of the Skule Cannon firing at Skule Events or being stolen by other inferior engineering departments from other inferior universities, Chief has finally decided to go electric with their weapon of choice, the Cannon. This comes after many years of lighting it with a cigarette and using blank gun powder as its fire.

In an exclusive interview with Chief, we dug deeper to find out why exactly this change was made.

Interviewer: Good morning, Chief, how are you today?

Chief:

Interviewer: I’m good as well, thank you for asking. Now, I think the question that everyone wants to know is: Why the decision to make the Cannon electric? Isn’t the whole point of the Cannon to represent the traditions of the past?

Chief:

Interviewer: I see. So what you’re saying is that, even though we must honor traditions from the past, we must also acknowledge the current world that we live in and must make positive change forward for future generations? With that being said, how do you plan on keeping up with the tradition of lighting the Cannon with a cigarette?

Chief:

Interviewer: That’s absolutely genius! I would have never thought of using the battery inside the vape to fire the Cannon! Moving right along, how do you think the Cannon becoming electric affects the odds of it being stolen?

Chief:

Interviewer: Interesting choice. Well Chief, thank you for your time today. I look forward to hearing from you again!

Chief:
*sigh*
