UofT has committed to creating a climate-positive campus by 2023. In this report, we will specify exactly how we’re planning to do this. 

Through actionable, specific, and timely actions, we will reverse our harmful climate effects. We will work together to reverse the state the climate has reached. The University will work with the relevant stakeholders to take the necessary and important steps and reduce our impact. We are currently working on projects that are leading national efforts towards sustainability. UofT is an incredible school with an incredible student body. We are confident that our desired results will occur and we trust that our community will help us move forward towards these goals. Our plan is ambitious, but it is realistic. In particular, our plan is made of goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. They will be completed by 2023 and that’s why UofT is Canada’s #1 university for Engineering.
